  • Your full name is collected and displayed on any comments you make. This helps to ensure that comments are of a high quality. Pseudonyms are not allowed, as per the terms and conditions.

For the contact form

  • Your name is collected. It's okay to use a pseudonym on this form.
  • Your email is collected. This is so that the admin(s) can respond to your query if needed.

What do we use your information for?

Your comments are displayed on the website, alongside your full name, once they have been approved.

Any information you submit through the contact form is viewed only by the admin(s), unless you authorise us otherwise. We will use the email address or any other contact details supplied to us by you to respond to your query if needed.

Any content submitted by you that breaks any laws or otherwise gives us reason to be concerned about the safety of you or any other person will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Analytics, cookies, etc.

Currently this website does not use any tracking cookies or analytics. The only cookies used are session cookies, for the purpose of keeping you logged in.

How do we protect your information?

Your personal information is stored in Firebase. Only Heidi Newton and James Browning-Donaldson have direct access to the database. Other users will be able to see your full name on any comments that are approved.

Getting your information removed

You may request at any time to have all of your comments removed from the website. Please note that after requesting this service, you will be permanently banned from making any further comments on the website, as per the terms and conditions.

Changes to the privacy policy

Changes to the privacy policy could be made at any time. Each time you comment on Heidi's Blog Site, you are agreeing to the current privacy policy.
